My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. As a Ghanaian this is how I pronounce them but there’s this subtle nuances about a mother tongue. Once you’re a British by birth there’s no way I can speak like you. Let’s accept accents is a gift from God so we get variety. That’s why I can still tell the difference between a black born in the UK and real white British when they speak even when it’s audio and I don’t see faces.

I'm learning British/English Accent because I Stutter a lot, it makes my friends and People I talk to don't understand quite often however when I use the British accent I was mistakenly called British and my friends are able to understand me. Thank you, Sir!
