For me, as a Spanish native speaker, it is easier to pronounce some words in a British accent than in an American accent, I believe this is because of the pronunciation of the letter "T', which is more familiar with the pronunciation or sound of the letter "T" in Spanish

This helped me more than I realized. My partner is British and my Texas accent has definitely changed a bit from hearing the British accent but this helps me realize how my mouth isn’t trained to do some of the sounds lol.

We Americans have a lazy pronunciation style. I live in the American South - and our accents are incredibly relaxed and depending on where in the south you are, can be quite rounded and full. My favorite southern accent comes from an area in southern Alabama in the Selma/Montgomery/Greenville area of the state. Those accents are very full and round and spoken from the back of the throat. Thank you for covering this topic - accents are endlessly fascinating!
