"How to connect with anyone" including those who cannot give you anything. I believe in a rule that we French-Canadians repeat often: 'Donner au suivant' which roughly translates to 'give to the next person'. If I give to someone, that person will surely eventually give to someone else and it eventually has a boomerang effect. It comes back to us somehow, sometimes when we least expect it.

Plus, I also strongly believe that what is offered doesn't have to be money or material goods of sorts if your goal is to meet a specific person. Time, advice, help with a difficult task, any service, or even a great conversation works (unless said person is very materialistic....).

What's funny is that Crowns point is so true. When you're willing and able to help someone, even if it's just a compliment and a little mood boost, or a brief human interaction, it shows that someone cares. We see so many people walk by and go about their day, we talk to so many, yet remember or truly connect with so few. That moment of kindness, help, or just conversation is what sticks in their memory.

Huh, the secret really is just be a nice person. Thanks Nick (my name is also nick 🤝😎)

Nothing gets someone more extraverted and excited when someone is curious about their soap box

John Paul DeJoria is a really cool guy to chat with. I would run into him every now and then when I still lived in Austin. I always found the very wealthy people there were less flashy and fairly friendly.

Don’t expect things from people, but when you do receive something be grateful.

Humanity, honesty, and being willing to go the distance are all someone needs to see in me for them to trust me moving forward.
I worked in the entertainment business for a while, and even when I made less, I ended up with more.
Lots of trial and error and working and reworked sales pitches, and I loved it. I miss it!!

When I was a salesman. The period where I made the most is when I focused more on what the customers needs and wants were rather than what I wanted. I received the highest customer satisfaction rating ad well. Just by being selfless

I believe this concept is in "how to close a sale." Its important to find what they need and want before trying to sell anything to them.

People don't generally know anyone rich past the point of snobbery. They're usually decent hypereffective people that work well with anyone from anywhere. The kind that wants to know and sees value in knowing all levels of operation and the indispensablity of all the parts of the machine.

Are we gonna sit and pretend that the number beside your networth is what makes you a good or bad person? Ive seen his skits the rich guy is an asshole because hes an asshole not because hes richer than most but not as rich as the really rich guy.
The fact is this its hard to make a lot money and its even hard to make it and not become an asshole. But there are assholes that mop floors and assholes with yachts

Attitude exists regardless of income. You’re deluded to think otherwise.

This only works if you are perceived as pretty/as someone who has something they want . If you don't look like someone they can trust, then you come off like a creep or serial killer.

They may change their mind after they realize you can offer them something, but you know from there on out your relationship is you being viewed as a tool.

U never come to a wealthy individual for a hand out. U come to them with an opportunity!

I’m not sure I understand, in the book “the richest man in Babylon” isn’t one of the concepts to pay yourself first?
