UNIVERSAL REMOTE FOR ROKU | SofaBaton R2 Unboxing & First Look Review

Hey Dads,

Are you looking for a Universal Remote for Roku? I was sent a SofaBaton R2 to do an unboxing of and I wanted to share that with you dads today because this looks like it's going to be a great remote for cord cutters if you are looking at cord cutting.

The packaging of this universal Roku remote looks really nice, and I especially like that they include the batteries with the remote. According to the instructions, to program this Roku remote you just point your old remote at this one and press the buttons when in setup mode. I'm curious to see how easy this is and how well this works.

When u use cable streaming apps like xfinity, Cox, or Verizon on roku device does this remote change channels on the cable streaming apps? Also does the voice commands on this universal remote work on the cable streaming apps as well?

I've always read stories about people who have lost their remote. So glad to hear that I can always just get a replacement lol! I can't wait to see the follow-up video. I used to use my phone as a IR blaster but they decided to stop that feature :/

So this remote does NOT work with Roku TVs, correct? I made the mistake of buying this for my Roku TV. It doesn't work.
