How to Add Icons to WordPress Menus (The Fast Way!)

In this video, we're going to cover how to add icons to WordPress menus... in about 30 seconds or less! This is by using the free plugins called "Menu Icons by Theme Isle".

We can use these menu icons to draw attention to specific pages, like maybe our home, or contact page. Or we can add them to all of the different pages in our menu if we like (including pages in our drop-down menus).

This is an updated version of an older tutorial of mine, and one which I’ve had requested a few times.

I think it is worth mention Martie that at 1:24 in the video at the bottom left of the screen you can see 'Menu Icons Settings' on the dashboard. If people click this, they can have a choice of different icons such as fontawesome or even an image, as opposed to only dashicons that you show here. Hope this helps. Best wishes, Colin from down south!

That is really great Martie. So many people will get value out of this. Your approach of say, just one or two icons I think is the preferable way to go. I could be wrong but a whole bunch of icons might look a bit cluttered. Damn, now that I have started to type this, I am wondering how the colour scheme works for the icons. Does it just take the colour of the menu text? Don't bother replying to this as I am an ass for not checking it before I started writing. But another super fast tutorial - concise, perfectly paced, and well presented.
