Steve Is Being Added To Smash Bros Ultimate...

Somehow Sakurai has made it happen and Steve from Minecraft is going to be added into Smash Bros Ultimate as the next fighter. More information is coming out after the video went live this morning, but I wanted to put up my thoughts and reaction from earlier today.

I feel like people who are mad about this need to lighten up. Smash is about celebrating video games, so of course Minecraft should be included.
All I want from the DLC is interesting, new IPs being introduced and this is exactly that.

I really like how they basically pulled a game and watch with this. They could have changed things, made Steve look a lot more like it fit, sort of do things like you see in Minecraft storymode for example, but they didnt.

Honestly this is really inspiring to smaller developers. Minecraft being a small indie game when it first released then evolving to multiple games, worldwide recognition, and a spot in the biggest fighting game of all time. That’s insane
