I'm at 838k subscribers posting shorts. I look at my Audience Analytics and look at the times most of my viewers are online watching Youtube. In general, you should post at 10am, 12noon, 3pm, and 6pm. This is just one of several ways to maximize views in the first few hours.

I did an experiment and uploaded shorts for a whole month. Got a few 10k views ones and most reached 1k but it did not help my channel grow at all. I really don't think shorts are worth it if you usually upload normal videos. I'm still growing by about 25 subscribers a day which I'm happy about.

Speaking of thumbnails, a small suggestion I have is with your ai generated thumbnail. It would be nice if we could keep the title we already have for the video, while having a seperate search bar for the AI generated thumbnail. Keep up the great work!

My goal is to stay consistent with a series that has done well for me in recent months. I quit on it when views started dipping.
