For those wondering, this product is a 6c serial dilution, which is 1 part per 6 million of active ingredients. The active ingredients also include belladonna, though it's unlikely to be effective in any way at such low levels

As a newly crunchy mom that did face paint in part time in college: When I read the article about the toxic heavy metals and face paints, I had my face paint kit tested at the university and they found that the professional quality face paints(not the crap you buy in the craft stores) actually are low to no heavy metals. This was done at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. I'm not sure if they actually published it yet, but it should be in their digital commons on their posters for the chemistry department. Heavy metals were at least below the limit of detection of their machine.

So yes, go enjoy the cute little cat noses and the tigers and the Spider-Man's guilt-free!
