This was definitely the biggest BS in the entire series. Leonard definitely with more effort interrelationship than Penny ever did. Hell, if it wasn't for him, Penny would have probably been homeless back in seasons 1 or 2

Leonard has been chasing Penny since day one, and he tried everything to make it work for their relationship and marriage, and he always apologized to show Penny that he cares about her, and wants to work problems out.

Penny is disrespectful one in this case, ignoring Leonard's efforts and sacrifices for her over the years and thinking she deserves every good thing in this relationship. Love Sheldon's last line, he's like "this isn't my business...whatever."

The biggest problem here is that Penny didn’t give any specific examples and just made a blanket statement with no evidence. That will get you nowhere when trying to solve relationship issues.

If anything, it was definitely the other way around - Penny took Leonard for granted.
From day one, Leoanrd wanted to be with Penny that he went above and beyond trying and doing anything to woo and win her heart mainly because he just wanted to get laid.
But, yeah, Leoanrd had made all the effort with their relationship since they first met. Basically, Leonard should have realised that Penny wasn't worth it all for him and chose any of the women who would have been perfect for him throughout the show.

Leonard is a simp but he has put in more effort than Penny, in fact Penny thought her job in the relationship was "letting Leonard make her happy", she's broken up with him countless times, he had to beg her 3-5 years, if anything she takes him for granted

Penny's selfishness is one of the main reasons why I found her to be such an annoying character throughout the series. Leonard always put so much effort into his relationship with Penny and she just expected more and more. It was incredibly selfish of her. Fortunately, moments like these, where she acts like a total self-important fool, are not as common as in the earlier seasons.

I used to not like Sheldon in th e past, but I see he's a man in control of himself and his environment. Alpha pack leader. Says things as they are, doesn't let others push him around like how Leonard is with Penny, and has a heart of gold and cares for his friends and family in his unusual but still awesome way.

Penny was being an absolute petulant child in this episode. Leonard was the one who made the effort from day one and Penny was the one who constantly took him for granted even after they got married. Penny is known as a self-saboteur, she'll find fault and pick a fight even when there's no reason to.

Well, even this scene shows that Penny was always treating Sheldon better than Leonard, and honestly, already since the middle of season 4, Penny and Leonard were awful as a couple. No matter what you think, if the writers only were willing to write it, Sheldon could have changed when it comes to his intimacy, so Penny& him would have been and had the potential to be times better couple than Leonard and Penny or Sheldon and Amy. That change could have totally happened had Sheldon been with Penny, as Penny was always the only one that pushed Sheldon organically to change, not as Amy did, through scientific experiments! Because if you rewatch the show, that is what happened: Penny was always more natural with Sheldon, she made him change effortlessly, while Amy always had to entrap Sheldon or yell at him, or whine to make him change. The fact is that the producers and writers totally missed the golden opportunity to write a really hilarious and unexpected twist to the story, by making the odd, hilarious couple out of Sheldon&Penny. Period.

Honestly its Leonards own fault he was so blinded by his fantasy of her he never once realized she never really did anything for him I think he most selfless act towards him was her throwing that party for him in season 1 besides that I cannot really think of anything that she really did for him Penny only wanted to settle down with him only after it was clear her acting career was never going too take off when you believe you are settling for someone thats always going to lead to an unhappy marriage for both of there sakes they should have just split up I think they just made each other unhappy in the later seasons but neither had the courage to do anything about it for Penny she has a guy that is devoted and is financially stable and Leonard fulfilled his nerd fantasy of having a hot girlfriend thats all that holds relationship together.
