I took off social media off all my phones. YouTube is my only look into fantasy world now days

Don't see it as "quitting" social media look at it as using your time as you'd like and contribute to your own story/growth/development..as my short answer when I get asked why I don't have any is "I got everything and everyone I need rn"

Although Youtube is another void it is more content controlled and you have more control of how what and where you can watch your videos. The shorts have still made its way so we can scroll rot our brains away- i still use shorts and catch myself in that void but we making progress.
