👋 My name is Ryan & at age 30 I quit my day job. I used to work full time as a Sr. Front End Web Developer (I quit this job), & part-time as an adjunct professor teaching web development at a local university (I kept this job — I like teaching!). Both of my day jobs were awesome! But that couldn't change the fact that I'm completely addicted to the idea of building passive income streams that will allow me to retire from ever working a 9 to 5 job again.

I am a digital designer with more than 10 years experience. My point is I know photoshop, create high res graphics, color modes for print etc. After much thinking and debating I chose Printful as my POD because I care about the quality. I ordered some samples before adding the products to a store. I ordered 3 t shirts with different designs and colors. 2 of them came out faded and noticeably distorted. The packages arrived late... in 2 weeks. The package came in a yellowish super dirty and disgusting plastic. Even the white USPS package looked cleaner.

I'm starting my POD and have hooked it up to my old eBay store cause I have a ton of free listings I've never used. :) I'm doing a lot of hats but I'm noticing you have soooo many more to choose from than I. Is that because I just have a free Printify account and with an upgrade, I'll have access to all the great hats??

What does Printful use to put the design on the t-shirt? Do they use Heat Transfer Vinyl, Direct to Garment, Sublimation, etc? Do you have the option to have a combination of colors on the garment, if so are you charged by how many colors you add?

Hi Ryan. Firstly Thanks for all tutoring. I now have my first POD listing on Etsy. However I struggled to even get the listing to where it is now. Printful seem to have changed the user interface from all the tutorial videos I have seen so far.
Please can you do an updated video on adding a product template in Printful. Such that there is a light coloured logo (eg White) on a dark (eg Black) products and visa versa dark coloured logo (eg Black) on a Light (eg White) products. and a few of the colours in between. I would also like to see how you would set up the mock-ups for Etsy using only the Printful mock-ups. They have them all there I cant seem to be able to use them. This is taking Hours and hours to do one listing. Hope you can help Thanks

Ryan- I though Printful only integrates to Etsy. Not Amazon? Its confusing— Printful and Printify? So confusing. Do you choose your own product suppliers for each type of product in Printful to determine quality, shipping time and dependability? Thank you.
