Printful is more expensive but quality has been great! Been with them for 3 years. A big thing for me is how well items wash. A shirt we got from another supplier was falling apart a year later. The Printful version was still going strong. Printful colors were also closer to my original choice.

For me the choice is clear - I would always go for a product that had better quality printing, which in this case is Printful option. Btw, I CAN clearly see the print diff. As for pricing, well, I believe that if you demand quality, choose Printful. On the other hand, Printify (choose the top printing shops only) is the only acceptable option if you are starting or want to scale a lot, due to cheaper prices.

The Printful sports bra looks much better. Leggings, too. I don’t agree that profit margin is more important than offering a high-quality product. Especially with the kinds of designs i’m doing which aren’t cheapo funny T-shirts.

Hey man, thanks for taking the time to do this... I use printify currently, some stuff is good, some ok, and some is meh. Regardless, I think the issue with all of them is something you said near the end of the video... that your #1 priority is profit margins. Are you sure? I think the #1 priority is that your customers, and [if you have them] employees are all happy. Unfortunately, macro structure isn't optimized for this model. So, we're going to see really low quality stuff, but hopefully (please god) some higher quality at premium prices (lower margin). Having a short term 100% capitalistic (ROI) mindset is dangerous for everyone. I think the review of quality and main point of the video is spot on though. Will check out more of your videos!

1) You have to factor in the cost of the premium plan - once the trial is up, you're paying for it
2) What about the Printful premium plan with regard to costs? I mean, I know Printful is generally more expensive anyway, but.
3) The Printful items looked more vivid, more colorful than the Printify equivalents. The yellow (I think it was) looked better from Printful.
4) What is the effect of washing the items, between Printful and Printify? This is important. Do they degrade the same or does, for example, Printful wear better?
5) What is the user experience like of applying and aligning the design on the guide and what are the generated mockups like between Printful and Printify? My take: Printful is much better

Unfortunately, from a business (not customer) perspective, going for the cheaper product definitely helps. I would actually go for CustomCat for the sake of the best quality but again, it comes down to a seller's costs.
🤷‍♀

*My Thoughts: I prefer Printful. Yes, Printful is more expensive than Printify, but that's for a reason. Printful allows for so much more customization, embroidery, branding, consistent and faster shipping times, etc. With Printful, it's from Printful. With Printify, it could be any manufacturer, so there will be inconsistencies.*

*I use both, but mainly Printful. Printify is good for using POD items that Printful doesn't have.*

...but who printed it? Printify is just the platform, not the company printing the items

I started using printful but once I saw the price difference without a quality or service difference, I quickly switched to printify. My experience with them have been great. Being able to choose Australian printers has cut down shipping costs and times.

that's all good about the image being printed... But how about the quality of the fabric being used after washing it for several times?

Thanks for doing this video comparing Printful and Printify. This helps!

Gotta chime in here as a woman with a background in fashion design. I don’t think this is a thorough comparison. The construction of the sports bras and leggings is completely different and I’m sure will fit the same body differently. I would love to see the comparisons on a body.

Love the video❤️ I just started my print-on-demand journey and found Crafted Threads. They have a ton of designs and it saved me so much time. They have something in every niche. And lifetime updates too!!

Without even having ordered much from Printful, just by researching online reviews, I can tell which is made on Printful, due to more vibrant coloring. They seem to be the top quality in the POD business. But they have salty prices.

I want to know which ones hold quality after months of washing. I would rather pay more money for a shirt that will last than pay less for a shirt that the print just falls apart after a few washings.

Which pod company printed the merch from printify? They offer several pod printers.

I do think that one set is paler in color tone than the other. A little more saturated is sometimes a little more beautiful. Not with art, by the way... Another point is that I still see small ink splashes in the samples shown. Furthermore, I would still be inclined to opt for more expensive if also demonstrably better. But that is my opinion. Thanks for the advice man!

Fwiw, when I decided to include candles I went through Printed Mint directly instead of using them through Printify. More selection for the product, options for packaging was a bonus.

So printify is the way to go.. thank you!! About to order my product sample right now 🙌

All the ones from Prihtful were much better quality in terms of print (much more vibrant colors, the printify ones look washed out in comparison) and quality of the garment. The sports bra is a night and day difference, followed closely by the leggings.

I'm sorry to say this but you making like you can't see the difference will only hurt the trust of your audience, not worth it!

(For the record, I'm not using either service, but your review -or at least what you showed in it- made me feel that Printful is a much more quality option, even if more expensive. So thanks a lot for taking the work -and the expense- to produce this this Joe!

I think to an uncritical eye the differences might seem minimal, but I could clearly tell which one was printful every time.

The styles are more nuanced and fashionable, the print placement and scale is better, the materials are higher quality and presumably last longer, the colors are more vibrant(especially on that training bra).

I think if you're just trying to pawn merch with the biggest profit margins possible, then yeah printify. However, all the multimillionaire buisnessmen say reputation matters for the longevity of a buisness and to strive for a quality product, and the rest will follow, and if you are trying to make a quality product printful seems better overall. I still don't think either can hold a candle to the level of quality you can reach with traditional methods of sourcing and manufacturing though, so I don't know if the bump in quality would matter much.
