In this video, I give my own answer to the non-identity problem. This is the problem that a certain intuitive moral conclusion cannot be defended in cases where an action not only has better and worse effects, but those effects happen to different (non-identical) people.

My own answer is out of the mainstream. It's perhaps not even in the same river-valley. In one important set of cases, I reject the common moral intuition that drives much of what is written on the subject. Of course, I give my reasons for it.
