How To Revive The Firekeeper/How To Kill Lautrec/ How to Relight Firelink | Dark Souls Remastered

Did you go to firelink shrine only to find that the bonfire wasn't lit anymore? If you don't take care of Lautrec of Carim up in the undead church, he will eventually kill the firekeeper in Firelink shrine. In this video I will show you how to relight the bonfire, how to save and revive the firekeeper, and how to kill Lautrec in Anor Londo. Hope you enjoy!

To cheese this fight, when you first load into his world, sit at the entrance and shoot them with arrows. You're too far away for them to agro on you so you can easily kill all three

For newer players, if you haven't rung both bells and failed to kick him off the cliff and die, he'll douse the fire, but he won't kill the Fire Keeper, so just go there and kill him to reignite the bonfire.

The estus cut off is linked to the amount you have. If you have 2 you'll get one if you have 3 youll get one if have 4 you'll get 2 it just halves your estus

If u gave her soul up by mistake upgrading your flasks, all u have to do is warp to a different area and come back and you’ll be able to use the black eye orb and you’ll get another firekeeper soul to revive her at firelink

Maaaan.. NG+ and I get back to firelink after trekking all around and find the bonfire unlit and fire keeper dead af. THIS is why SOULSBORNE games are so incredible. I never knew ABIUT this. In NG, I killed lautrec Cuz I’d heard to do so? Lmao. Nice! Thanks brutha man

The fight with Lautrec is tough. I’ve found the easiest way is to isolate and parry Lautrec, kinda like how you demonstrate.

Great video! I actually have been gimped with the Firelink Shrine out (farming slabs in NLR by running from the bonfire in Undead Parish) and didn’t know how to relight it. Thanks for these helpful videos.

I always wondered how this worked, and because I wasn't sure how to find Loutrec I always killed him once I released him. Time to let him out of his cage then. LOL

One my first playthrough I didn't ever see Laurtec, then the firekeeper just died. And I thought the Black Eye Orb was an online item (of which I didn't want to try on my first playthrough), so didn't even know you could hunt him down!

The armors you gain from the story here aren't with the hassle for this, unless you're an RP addict with them, and you could always come back in his armor and kill the firekeeper again for the fun of it.

I much prefer though, to kick him twice off the ledge at Firelink to get the ring of FaP.

Easiest fight I’ve had. I just poisoned all 3 guys with poison arrows from very far away and waited it out. The main guy had to be poisoned twice. No fuss no muss

A good tip. Go upstairs and shoot with a bow. When they climb up you can slaughter them in few second at the stairs.
