Valuable DIY tips, I could not agree more. In fact every real men should learn basic things overall. Learn how to clean your shoes, clothes, learn how to run the household, learn to fix the alarm or the garage door. We will get a far with the basic knowledge of general things and how to fix them.

Great video, Antonio! I agree with all of those tips you presented in the video, especially about cooking your own food. It is much easier to cook at home rather than dining out, not to mention you'll know what's actually in your food! It is not difficult to follow simple recipes that have the number of ingredients that can be counted on a single hand.

I believe that all high school students should be required to take home economics!

if you hate sewing you could explore hemming with fusible tape, it is very fast and reversible in case you mess up.

Good recommendations, I just bought a navy blue suit that I found at a thrift store that I am going to convert into a blazer by sewing on the right buttons. Very advantageous as I am going losing a bunch of wait and have a revolving wardrobe at the moment so I need to take advantage of what I can find that won't break the bank.

I do all of these things and yes I sew my own pants, got it from my dad that owns a factory. What I would add. Learn how to pick the right woman so you don't need to over spend :)

Sewing buttons is great for your repairs. It's also handy when you want to change the look on your favorite jacket. Fortunately I haven't had any accidental stains to deal with. I'll keep my fingers crossed, but what are your methods for the dreaded ring around the collar? On that note, I think a the savvy gentleman should know how to read the care and cleaning labels on his quality garments. You've invested, now protect it. And my final thought: A man can shine his own shoes. Antonio has showcased some very fine footwear, and whether you're lucky enough to partake, or you have other fine footwear, shoe polish and shoe trees are simple ways to prolong the life of your footwear.

I'm an elderly gentleman, not an old man, so, I have many stories. Just one for now. Learn how to open up, remove/replace your watch battery. (Learn how to test it, too). Go to Walmart jewelry department with your old battery and buy a new one, 5 or 6 bucks, and replace it yourself later. Beats leaving it at a jeweler's for a few weeks and wondering if they stole a jewel or two when they opened up your watch. Pay the Walmart employee at the jewelry counter for the battery, stick it in your pocket, and walk out past the long lines as you leave the store, like a boss. Time is money!
