@Kirneill-SENSEQUALITY Is putting the modem in bridge mode and just having my Netgear router do the natting only is that safe? Thats my concern. Does the router protect you and your pc. If you use Upnp or port forwarding. If I put my isp gateway in a bridge I get open bc it takes the router part out of the modem and stops it from conflicting with my netgear router. But idk if that’s safe can you let me know

My internet speed is 300 download and 150 upload speed and my ping is 8 I'm getting huge fps stutters and wifi icon in Fortnite I disabled some of the network protection and antivirus protection on windows it greatly improved my lag and performance. I think windows antivirus and network protection sucks for online gaming because I don't get fps dips and stutters in offline games.
