Thank you CaptainAB, I couldn't remember how I first installed MSFS and ended up installing the sim into the default path on a separate drive which placed the Community folder deep within the MSFS folder structure. This results in an issue where the destination path is too long and add-on's cannot be installed successfully. I am so glad that I came across your YouTube channel. I’ll be installing this on a brand new tower Monday. EXCITED! Looks like the big take home message is to install on the D drive and not the default C drive? As you can tell I’m no computer expert but ok with some basics 😁

Hello to all. Have an issue with my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick. Seems like the throttle when on the ground and trying to take off will not stay on full throttle. It also does not seem to have the settings that I selected and saved for each of the buttons on the Joystick when changing aircraft. Any ideas? I use this same joystick and it works fine on FSX. I looked on the Logitech website to see if I could find a windows 11 driver for it but no luck.

Why is it when I try to install MSFS Standard DVD on my desktop it would always open Microsoft Store, but my activation code stated that I need to install Microsoft Simulator first then redeem my code? Should I just click on "Redeem Code" at the MS Store even if I haven't installed the DVD yet into my desktop? Last question, once I redeem the code will I be able to use it again should I need to reinstall my MSFS Standard DVD? Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks guys! :)
