a shortcut to get to the appdata folder, even if it is hidden, is to simply type %appdata% in the file browser path. This will open the appdata\roaming folder, just simply go up one folder and open the local folder.

There is no microsoft flight simulator folder for me
I'm using windows 8.1 and i'm playing mfs20 on the microsoft site (pc but using control)
can you help me?
edit: I found the microsoft flight simulator folder (was microsoft xbox)
but when i go to LocalCache there is nothing

I put all my addons in the community folder just like you did but they just sit there and doesn't do anything, they arent in the gam
Edit: The file just gets put in the community folder, it never say extracting or anything ;( Please help if you know anything

Thank you, did'nt work initially, then I found a 2nd community folder where the game is actually saved and it worked :)

i bought this game from xbox game pass pc and i tried to download addons in local app data but didnt work. then i tried to browse my community files snd it showned on d drive but when i tried to extract some files there it doesnt work it says : your organzation does not allow you to place file here

i had to go in roaming instead of local so sometimes you have to search more deeper in the files
