PMDG 777 Full Setup Tutorial with a Real 777 Rated Pilot! MSFS PMDG 777-300ER

In this video you'll get a full guide on how to go from cold and dark through to takeoff in the PMDG Boeing 777-300ER for MSFS! I'll use my real world experience as a long haul Boeing pilot to give you the tips for how to operate this fantastic aircraft like the real world!

I am a real world Airline pilot with thousands of hours flying the real aircraft and thought it would be fun to have a look at the detailed simulations of airliners in MSFS and X Plane. Great video, thank you! Small nitpick: I don´t know if it has something to do with your recording software, but the mouse cursor is always off the button / option you are clicking. I found myself mumbling "WTF is he doing" for a minute or two at the beginning 🤣

Being T/R on the 767/300 (thank you Matteo Chewy), the systems seem to operate in a very similar fashion, so no major shocks so far. I think that getting the TCA responses correctly configured will greatly enhance the realism (ergo immersion). Really looking forward to first flight and subsequent long hauls. I am in the 77W in P3D at this time. Very different, thsy have put a lot extra into MSFS. I have it but haven't used it yet, very difficult to get it set up. Great videos, thank yoy.

Not a complaint at all, just an observation: its incredible how different a short haul airplane like the 737 is setup compared to a long haul jet like the 777. Much more manual interface on the 37, and I assume that the shorter flight times leads to less fatigue. Assuming the 737 could fly the same distances as the 777, Id imagine there would be a higher chance for pilot error due to fatigue. While older aircraft were much more mechanical in nature as well, the advancement of avionics definitely benefits the 777 pilot for the distances they fly.
