This is perhaps the best golfing learning video I have seen on youtube for the last several years! It pertains to me a lot! Thank you. Finally someone who explains the golf swing right!!

Absolutely fantastic video, Stu. Your educational and science based teachings are superb. As a golfer, a few years back, I stupidly went down the road of swinging to right field (inside out) and bowing my lead wrist. It ruined my swing and caused massive slices and shanks. That’s when I decided to get educated and use science. Fast forward, my swing and strike greatly improved, and I stop paying attention to the trash that’s out here. Once I discovered your channel and listened to what you’re trying to teach, I quickly realized that you were a different kind of coach. You bring science into your teachings and it’s contrary to what’s being taught. It has really helped my game. Thank you for being truthful and your sincere desire to educate us.Keep up the excellent work. Cheers.

Understanding difference between cause and effect is huge. Not many instructors seem to acknowledge this. Thanks, Stu.

Thanks Stu, been watching your video for sometimes in the past 3 months.

I am currently practicing better impact by removing excess movements and stay my button of shirt from the beginning at my impact position. And your video helps me understanding more about impact.

I have been learning golf with my coach for a while. He basically taught the same theory as you do, and I always got something from you that i don’t get it during my practice.

Thanks :)

Hello Stuart, I’ve been enjoying your channel and am getting a better understanding of your teaching methods. I have not seen a reference to my faults as of yet. I’m a 2 handicap golfer and have been a good player for most of my life however I live on the toe of the golf club and take extremely large divots (especially with my scoring clubs). I play a fade which is my preferred shot shape but would love to hit them from the middle of the club face instead of on the toe. I’m also 6’3” tall and it the ball much shorter than most of my playing partners. What do you believe my problem is? I would enjoy hearing your thoughts. Thanks Charlie

Had my best round so far this year yesterday Stu, still got work to do but cut 6 strokes off. Thanks for all your effort with the vids. Will be down to see you for another session in the winter sometime :)

Hi, Terry Woodcock here. Do push down on the handle to start the back swing? It feels better for me to start that way and really feel it through the down swing and I feel like I have more consistent straight shots doing it that way.

Another great explanation of proper golf swing mechanics. I've learnt so much since I came across your message, thank you. The in to out GARBAGE!! 😀 is one reason for early extension but can you explain the 'over the top' aspect of standing the handle up? Is there such a thing? The one where you feel the swing is going left too early so you stand the shaft up and hold off the release (I know, it's probably in one of your videos already 😀).
I also believe that through age, poor physical condition and possibly muscular skeletal issues, many golfers struggle to control the club inertia particularly with the legs, hips and pelvis. Can being unable to keep good posture through the speed of movement be a cause of not being able to return the handle to the correct height?
I play golf with a lot of different golfers of various abilities and I can see those who have control of their body movements, have a much better chance of delivering the club correctly. Those that don't, have to manipulate strike. For me, with lower back and hip issues, I know that when I control my posture in motion the game almost feels easy. When I don't, well you know the rest

No lie, slapped the ball around the front 9 the other day for a 45 and humping the goat all the way through. Back 9 told myself to maintain posture on every swing and shot 36. Granted I made a few putts, but same dude. Crazy game and thanks for your lessons Stu, cheers from West Palm Beach FL.

Golf brain reprogramming is challenging. This specific educational video removes another brain hurdle to improved, lower scoring golf. If a golfer commits to self-betterment efforts, the results will occur. I have become better due to these videos. Thank you

Sir! Why do I make better contact and generally get more distance on the ball with a lower in height and hands low backswing? If I go high in my backswing I have a lot more miss-hits! I think it has something to do with my early extension which causes me to come over the top. I know Jon Rahm on the PGA has a lower backswing than most players. Just thought i would add that. Thanks for explaining this!

Thanks for the videos Stu. Really made a change in my golf swing and please know, i no longer watch other teachers. Completely agree that the in to out is garbage but struggling to consistently go in to in. Any recommendation or videos of yours to watch?

Hi Stuart. Been Playing around with getting the hands lower through strike. I seem to be shanking quite a few. I noticed watching you explain this method pushing the handle down moves the head out and gets the socket closer to the ball. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Any pointers please. Regards Andy

The Early extension is what I call the humping the ball is exactly why I have the Toe shank or topping the ball and allways striking the ball more towards the toe ! Question would an flatter lie help lower handle at Adress ? Excellent Lesson Stu !!! Cheers from Cincinnati!!!❤

Good afternoon Stu. Would the lie angle need to be changed to allow for this feeling. I feel when I try this move the heel digs in. Thanks for your time.
