"He who increaseth knowledge, increaseth sorrow."

The first time i heard that was at the end of Assassin's creed one by Al mu alim and it is really striking how similar he looks to Egbert.

This is exactly how I feel, I have spent the past 10 years of my life reading and researching all ancient Books from Koran to the Bible and even the poetic Edda of the Norse, and I am still reading different things and one thing that I have realized is the more you know the more sadness you have because you realize that the world is run by pure evil.

The whole point of Ecclesiastes is to show that everything in life is vanity APART from Christ. With Christ, all the aspects of life that God intended to be enjoyed can actually be enjoyed.

This is a quote from the Old Testament, the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 1 verses 14-17. This is how it is written in the King James version of the bible.

Nice guess for Proverbs but still incorrect.
