This strike is impacting 1.3 million jobs, not just the 33, 000 employees who walked off the job. These 1.3 million jobs also include those on the supplier side. There will be many layoffs as a result of this strike if it goes on for extended period of time. Be prepared for the unemployment rate to double.

LMAO Boeings Earnings per share is -5.63 a year. They don't make money regardless.

Well, it's not a dispute. It's a company that wants to pay as little as possible and workers demanding fair pay. The great thing about the union. They are willing to pay millions to 1 person and very little to the people who do the work. They want quality but we all know you don't hire the $5 an hour mechanic to work on your vehicle. I'm also an aircraft mechanic who builds plains and take pride in my work. I've seen these places hire people who have zero experience in aircraft and pay them more then people who have been in it for years. These are the same people who couldn't hold a job in fast food. You can not expect top notch work out of trash that's never put in the time or money to gain knowledge of working sheet metal.

You can always quit if you're not happy with your pay. Go start a business. Letting someone decide your hours and pay is weak.
