The workers said NO, the union leadership wanted the workers to accept the offer….

Even though the 787 is built in South Carolina l, all the rework is done in Everett. So you have that as well.

25% pay raise over 4 years = 6% pay raise every year.
But 4% yearly bonus pay has been discontinued = 4% pay drop every year.
6% yearly pay raise minus 4% yearly bonus pay = 2% pay raise every year.
That does not keep up with inflation.
Boeing can’t do better?!

So this should be a net win for airplane safety temporarily?

The result of lack quality is low pay. Even Goodwill store or 7Eleven pay higher than grade 1.

Putting profit above everything else for years. How’s that working out for you now?

I think the federal minimum wage should be adjusted with inflation. Id be happy if the minimum wage was $40 an hour

I think they should try building bicycles first and get that right first then move up a small step at a time. I got 1.6million flying miles, I’ve never got on a boeing, I value my life

Well I know 14 million new migrants that are looking for jobs too.. and at least half of them are qualified... But since Boeing hasn't been making quality products for a while it shouldn't be hard to retrain since smart people that actually have initiative
