Use a long tube with a 90 at the end and legs to point it upwards. This way there's no open flames melting your wiring and hoses. A safer way, is to use an exhaust hose at attaching to a running vehicle and run the exhaust hose under your oil pan. It helps to tarp in the engine compartment if it's a large open space or there's high winds. Just let her run for 20 minutes and nothing will get melted or start on fire

Old time loggers would drain oil at night and put it by wood stove in cabin and refill in morning 🪵

Old Canadian trick. Learnt this working in the patch.
Only I used a 6” duct and a 90 so the flames not directly on the oily pan

I wish he said how cold it was. Anything -20 or above should start no problem if the battery is decent
