"You Don't Fool Me" is one of the last songs recorded for the Made in Heaven album, and one of the most unusual. On his website, Brian May says that David Richards, the band's producer, almost single-handedly created this song bit by bit from excerpts recorded shortly before Mercury's death[1]. May says that before the work done by Richards, there was no talk of any song. However, after compiling and re-editing the song (including parts written for "A Winter's Tale"), Richards presented it to the remaining members of the band. After that, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon added their instrumental parts and recorded backing vocals and were surprised to hear the finished piece, written from scratch. The style of the song is reminiscent of Queen's 1982 album Hot Space, as mentioned on their Greatest Hits III album.

I think this is in my top 10 all time favourite songs, it's just incredible. What a superb beat, guitar solo and all round composition. Fabulous.
