I don't see many apps integrated with Voice interactions. I find very few blogs talking about the implementation or some work being done. Every news is a news about the feature and its possibilities. When I tried to integrate the API, the documentation just throws me away since its so minimal and faulty and the example in codelabs is crashing.
For example the line,
Confirm(ttsPrompt, visualPrompt));
is stale right now. Its actually submitRequest.
I feel the focus on developer support needs to be more on Android.
I see a big potential in this one feature and hoping to build something very useful with it.
More struggles on the way. Doesn't matter. Its fun :)

I would prefer: "Ok, <service name>"  "play some heavy metal"
In that way multiple competitive services could co-exist and the user chooses which one that shall perform the request.
"Ok Google" feels like a sticky "Are you sure you want to do this" button.

Q4/2017 … and custom voice actions are gone and forgotten?

I am trying hard to do this. Google has stopped accepting custom voice actions. And my app does not use any of the standard intents. So how can I make the activity a voiceInteraction? Without the activity already being a isVoiceInteraction() the VoiceTrigger doesn't work. I figure the only way is to use the standard intents and MAKE them work with my app. I might accept a intent to "send" something, but process it differently. Not yet sure how possible this is. For now, I have successfully integrated SpeechRecognizer, but it is nowhere near as good as "OK Google...". I'm still searching. Does anyone know?

Can I go inside any page of my app just by voice actions? Ex. "Please open contact us page in MyApp". Like this ?? Please tell me the answer anyone

Sweet! I can't really find a use for this in my school's newspaper app, but it'll be handy in the future for sure!
It's also a huge leap in the race between Google Now, Siri and Cortana (and S Voice?)

i am creating a speech to text application by using google API and it work fine but i have a problem i want MIC turn ON till the application is ON. but in this project MIC in ON only for some seconds. i want MIC ON continuously if it is possible then please tell me..
if it is not possible then please tell me can i turn ON MIC for 5 minutes
