What is Twilio? How do you use it and what kind of business problems does it actually solve? That's what we're answering in todays video.

**What is Twilio**
Twilio solves the issue of communicating with your customers, making sure that journey is as seamless and reliable as possible. They enable SMS, Voice, Chat, and Email functionality at scale. They also have a nifty call center platform called Flex (built with React) that's a massive time saver for any of your needs there. The API's are also developer first, allowing you to fully customize and build upon a solid foundation of functionality.

**Why I took on Twilio as a sponsor**
Twilio are a solid company and they solve a really difficult problem. Sending SMS and email at scale is hard. Creating architecture that supports that, also hard. Their developer friendly API's make building solutions to those problems much easier than they should be.

I also had the pleasure of working with some of the Twilio team at Devrelcon 2021. The Japanese arm of Twilio were an absolute delight to work with, and exemplified everything I'd want in a brand i'm attaching my name to.
