The more I think about it the more I really like the idea of a Quick, Casual, Solo-Oriented Playlist.

Solo players have been a huge chunk of the destiny player base since 2014. I’m glad were finally getting some love.

Now give me exotic class items via solo gametype.

Something for us 40 year old destiny dads!

If Bungie gave solo players a way to earn 'raid only' exotics that would certainly get me interested in D2 again! 👍

They should have incorporated a system years ago where sweats and hardcore players get the best loot quicker by doing the hard stuff
The casual players still get the loot but it takes longer and maybe more objectives
This way everyone gets to enjoy the content and gear 🏆

Thank you Bungie from the solo players

Nothing will bring back the memory of solo grinding the nightfalls in D1 with icebreaker.

Im a 56 year old mum and nannie and been playing destiny since the very start. I would definitely appreciate solo ops, sometimes its good to skip the drama that sometimes surrounds fireteams and other players and just have some nice, fun solo activities, without the pressure of fighting those solo self made 'heros' that are in your team but want to run ahead and decimate everything before you even get there. I cant wait!

One of the problems with destiny is that most of the paid content is multiplayer too (except for the campaign itself), I wish bungie would invest some time in making a solo version of raids and dungeons too. Not complaining though, this is a step towards a better future.

As a primary solo op person, I love this concept. Sometimes I join and want to do all the LFG things and co-op but time wont let me commit to that. I dig the idea. Its like a shuffle button for Destiny. I dig it.

Thank goodness as I have really bad social anxiety and do not like using the fire team finder so it’s really nice to see the fact that this is helping us solo players❤️

Bungie continues to impress! I am a solo player and use LFG and clanmates to finish Raids and activities that require > 1 person. Most days, I do not want to shoot symbols or figure out a pattern, etc. After a long day, let's just shoot stuff and have fun! YEAH!

I’ve been saying this since the launch on first day! Players were locked out of the better gear and weapons. The raids showed you how many people left because they didn’t have access to them! The numbers don’t lie! Don’t take my word for it look up the %. Of players that have done and finished raids and other activities that require 3 to 6 players!!

Seemingly, this is a great first step towards making the game more fun/accessible to fireteams of all sizes; even one man teams. I will say this though, one of the things I’ve always wanted in the game to improve solo play is a solo option for ALL difficulties in the vanguard activity section of the game; primarily strikes and battlegrounds on normal difficulty. No change in enemy strength/numbers, no change in modifiers, no change in obstacles unless absolutely necessary to allow for only one player to pass them, just a dedicated off switch for activities usually with forced matchmaking; all the same modifiers, enemies, mostly the same obstacles, and the same possible rewards as if it was a full 3 match-man team. I know it would take longer and may not be most efficient/rewarding option, but I’ve always enjoyed being able to earn the exact same rewards as full team while playing at my own pace as a solo. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had was when I was grinding vanguard bounties and I got sent into the arms dealer on my own. The matchmaking never paired me up with other people (presumably because of bad connection at the time) all the way up to/through the final boss fight and, as a result, it did take noticeably longer to complete. But the fun part is that there wasn’t any stolen kills, any joining allies screens, any competitive speed running, any other players getting in my way whatsoever; just me clearing through the strike whatever way I wanted and however fast or slow I wanted. It really was incredibly fun to progress a normally forcibly match made activity without the stress of having to work around other players. I believe it was a solstice activity (I could be wrong) that had something like that a ways back, and I remember it being fun as hell, just battling huge groups of enemies that weren’t completely impossible over the course of about 20 minutes. Overall, I hope this solo ops idea does something like that and if not, it would be nice to see that implemented wherever possible. This way people can progress way more of the game solo. Hopefully at least one of you had a good time reading my stupid ramblings; I hope y’all have a good day;)

I just want a simple system that you can practice dungeon or raid by solo. only three days after the dungeon came out, all the team is asking for experience. you were missing couple days and the whole game abandoned you.

Still wish they’d solve the solo player exotic class item problem.

We will have to wait and see, as a solo player this does look interesting. One thing I have suggested is the creation of two AI Guardians. These two guardians would act as teachers for new players or anyone, guiding them thru various three man events. This could include any raids or dungeons that have a three guardian option. The two AI guardians would provide cover and support as the new player learns the mechanics and plays the objective. Visual text, audio and onscreen clues would also help the player learn the mechanics. The AI will not prevent you from dying but will give you the time to understand the game play. Not everyone has the patience to be a teacher and some have their own personal issues playing with other live guardians, so this could be a potential option for some.
