Creating a database

You can unlock a lot of Notion's most powerful features by using databases. Just click the + New Page button and select a database type to get started.

This was very much needed for us non techies. I really liked the simple & quick explanation of a database, property etc. This helps me understand what I could use this for. I just started with notion and I would love to know more like wiki's etc. Also, I've seen videos on relational databases and hoping I could figure out a way to manage my projects with them. I want to create "Tasks or To Do's" for multiple projects that I can add to my weekly or daily schedule but I'm struggling how to do this. I feel like there is a way but can't quite figure this out.

It's also important to note that you can create multiple of the SAME views for databases (like multiple table views), but apply different filters. I found that really important and easy to miss 👍

I create a table but cannot see the "open as page" option.

how do we have 2 tables that show the same data but with different filters? (for example one that shows today's stuff and one that shows tomorrow's)

Might need to update this video. When creating a table it's requiring that I "Select a data source to continue". This is a 3+ year old video and I'm sure a lot has changed.

Can you synchronize the database or all the Notion data from your Desktop to Android phone and vice-versa?

When using command (\) to create a database should the name be table or database. They might the same thing but today spend quite some time trying to create a database.
