I use E6000 when I make cake plates. I glue a bowl to the bottom of a plate. It holds very well.

Alisha, not to discourage you but just an FYI, just remember that when you have livestock you have to find someone to do chores when you are gone for more than a couple days. We farmed for many years with and without livestock, If you do find some land and get a hobby farm (I always called ours old McDonald's farm. Lol) have fun!! Your daughter will love it!
