This one is golden, works like a charm even on the big dudes.

Learning so much from your videos. All these wrestling lessons/concepts are so useful-being a BJJ guy with no wrestling experience. Hope the channel blows up, just joined the Patreon 👍

My comment won't help because I enjoyed both the B/W video and the color video :) This is such a great channel - please keep sharing this knowledge.

Best wrestling channel on YouTube I love the way you explained things always very informative and clear I've been working on my blast doubles and traditional double working on my singles to single takes a little bit longer more practice

As a long time wrestler is it nice to see BJJ trying to learn takedowns. I have to ask what is the motivation though?

Could you do a video on the Hillbilly-Roll?

I tried this move a little while ago against a wrestler much larger than myself (75lbs heavier). I saw it here. It nearly worked but I fudged the technical details having never tried to wrestle before — dropping the shoulder, head in sternum, level change etc. My low back was stiff and I was wearing rubber boots. I didn't level change much. I occupied his space w my hips instead but didn't follow through properly after I got him going backwards and captured his leg.

Is it possible to use your hips to offset your opponent's balance, and then complete this technique as I tried to?

He dove on me once his weight was over me and I sat down in a race for guard, my lead leg began crawling over the midsection setting up a back mount transition. But I sat my shoulders out to the opposite side of my lead leg which allowed him to crossface, blocking my back mount attempt. It got me thinking there might be something there if you fail the takedown provided it's possible to sit out on your lead leg side. ...Perhaps w butterfly gaurd principles.
