Marking the Queen the wrong way!

A short video to explain a mistake I made while marking a queen. I used a bottle of model paint and while dabbing a bit of paint on a stick, a big blob fell off the stick and onto my queen!

She is still laying, which is great but also a surprise. I eventually may need to replace her earlier than planned because of the paint blunder

Good tip Chuck! We all make mistakes as long as we learn from them we are ahead of the game. Glad she is still laying for you.
I seen cattle tags used on hives before somewhere, I can't remember where though....lol

Oh, the poor dear. Dog gone it.
We're bought 4 packages and 3 extra queens today. I don't know how, but i tote of one of the wings from one..i was so sad.

Thanks for the warning, but I prefer the marking pen. IMO, it is well worth the few dollars for a marking pen which avoids the issue of messing with jars with lids, drips, etc. But good tip for those using jars of paint.

Rofl, i have a queen like that as well. Not quite as bad and the red doesn’t show up as obvious lol. Question though, you ever have trouble finding Haha haha

I think she would look better if you had use some rhinestones:)
Walmart sells "Painter" brand paint pens for $1.97, yet even with a couple of pumps and carelessness I have Bedazzled a few mommas.

Hi chuck what kind of testors paint the enamel or acrylic?

I use cheap artist brushes, 2 dollars for 5 of them.
