I’ve always loved Porsches, but it wasn’t until the age of 40 that I got to drive one. My wife bought me a nice track day experience with a 911 and when I got out I was literally shaking with happiness, and nearly in tears. From boyhood memories of a 959 poster on my bedroom wall to driving a 911 around Castle Combe.

Life’s good at 46. I drive a Saab and my wife buys me socks for my birthday, but I still get a kick out of watching somebody else enjoying their Porsche.
