It's funny how u looked calm & was smiling while she was being against u being urself, one thing I've noticed is that we gay people are people pleasers, we are always try to fit in & have a place in society but homophobia, religion & close mindedness pushes us away, parents don't understand how hard it is to come out. I've always been gathering words & courage to come out to my parents untill I realized I don't need anyone's approval, it's my life, my happiness & my decision.

You can love someone and not support their actions..but as a mother you’d show up bc at the end of the day it’s your son who you birthed into this world. You don’t have to support his actions but show him that you love him still and this is coming from a Christian! No matter how much you try to show them the Godly way, they’ll end up going their own way but as a mother you’d show up bc you love him! Before becoming a Christian I used like the same gender as me, my mother is a Christian and she didn’t support my actions or who I liked back then but she always made sure she was present at my most important moments like graduation for example!
