From Kirkland Siganture golf balls to Callaway Chromesofts, and even the Snell golf balls, there's a lot of good golf balls in the game in 2017. However, finding the perfect golf ball for your style, abilities, swing speed, and talent can be a challenge to say the least. Hopefully this video changes your perspective, and enables you to pick a golf ball that will suit your needs.

The full list:

Srixon Z Stars
Nike RZN Tour
Snell Golf Ball
Bridgestone B330's
Callaway Chromesoft
Taylormade TP5 and TP5x
Kirkland Signature Golf Balls
and the best golf ball of 2017:

Titleist ProV1 and ProV1x

How did I make these decisions?

Through my years of playing golf, I have played hundreds of different brands. I'm a current +1.2 handicapper, so I've played enough to know how different golf balls feel, perform, and behave on the golf course. I put together this list with the sole intent of helping other golfers get an idea about the best golf balls in the game.

Please let me know how you did on my best golf balls list! I would love to hear your feedback, and please consider subscribing and leaving a thumbs up if you enjoyed the video.

Cheers!

BetterGolf.

Snell MTB black for those who want to play ProV1 or any other over priced ball and wants to save a few bucks. Just as good! MTB black is a 3 piece ball, red is a 4 piece ball. Their low end ball is a 2 piece but not tour quality.

Thanks for video.

I Think you have the Z-Star mixed up with Q-Star though. There is No way the Z-Star is for beginners. Im sure Srixon would love to hear that one...

For me the Chrome Soft was the best option Vs the Pro V models as they both performed similarly. Ultimately price was the decider. Kirkland wasn't available for me to try.

I found a kirkland signature once, it was in pretty good shape. I should have kept it, it might have been worth 10 bucks or more in a few years.

To me, the project A or the tour proffered ball by Taylormade is just as good as their TP5

Freaking disclaimer that I'm watching a Titleist fanboy ad!! Srixon Z-Star is a 3 layer & XV a 4 layer urethane tour ball that outlasts and outperforms the ProV's, but it's for an intermediate player. Suggest spending more money for a ball that can't do the same thing? Get real buddy

A lot of misinformation in this video. The "best" golf ball is totally subjective to being with. What is good for one person isn't good for the next. Second, the Z-Stars are tour balls with urethane covers. Why you poo-pooed the Z-Stars while talking up the Callaway Chrome's urethane cover was odd. Third, Jon Rahm, Dustin Johnson and the rest use Taylormade balls because they have a contract with Taylormade. Same goes for the Titleist guys you mentioned.

All of the balls you mentioned are top of the line balls. I suggest people hit them all to see which they like best. I think most will find that they all work pretty well for their game. In reality, besides feel, most will not see any difference in performance. Also when shopping, check to see how many pieces the ball is. If it has at least three pieces and a urethane cover, it's going to be a good ball.
