Qstar divides is my choice, I just like how it feels and putts. Spin is negligible to me as a mid handicapper. Price is nice

Just started playing Vision brand.
Great in wi d and good distance.
Quality ball made in same factory as many of the OOM balls.

I’m a vice pro convert. All reviewers say they’re not as good as their comparable counterparts but I’ve tried them all and I call bullshit. They have cheaper ones too that compare to these lower priced ones but at a discount. DTC is the go for balls.

So compression rating or swing speed doesn’t matter?

As I have got more “mature” the key now for me in which ball I use is putting. Having used softer (more expensive) balls in recent years, when I do use a cheaper variant it just feels so odd and as if I have little to no control on pace and feel. Maybe just an old mind playing old tricks but that is my main determinant, which is then followed by finding the cheapest “top-end” ball.

Trying different balls this year i actually tried the Taylormade speedsoft ink for 9 holes and shot a 39 was very surprised how it felt and how it played next 9 holes i used the Callaway ERC soft and shot a 38 again felt great in every way next 2 balls i am gonna try next 18 holes is the new AVX for 9 holes and the TP5 for 9 holes round after that I will try for 9 holes the PXG extreme ball and the tour Response orange stripe then will narrow it down to 2 balls then the 1 i am thinking ya can't really go wrong with any of them I am 59 with a swing speed of 90-94 mph and a 7 handicap i also hit a high ball usually so all of them have been having great stopping power on the greens as well thx for what you do Mark well done cheers from Canada

I'm a 15 handicapper, I used to play Wilson iwound until they stopped making them, so have been trying to find a new ball since last year. I have tried new Wilson's, Taylormade and have ended up with Srixon AD333, but I've read they are discontinuing these, so the search goes on. Never found prov1s did anything for more game so what's the point in paying £5 a ball.

I thought $2 per ball sounded thoroughly reasonable until i realised i was losing one out of every three sub-7 iron hit. Now i’m all-in on sneaking a few range balls out there!!
