Amen. Thank you pastor David for tdy's devotional. Yes, we must let the Lord God to uphold us. Then we would not be ashamed of our hope in God and His Word.

As always thank you. By the way I have walked thru the Book of Psalms with your Commentary and so appreciate your leadership and teaching. Today I am starting Roman's and I'm very anxious to do the same with your help.

Man lives not by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God

You alone are our strong tower
And the lifter of our head
You save us
You satisfy us
And you continue to uphold us
Glory be to your mighty name

Amen ~ without God we all fall, we all perish. It is only by His mercy we borrow his breath, his strength, his wisdom not only for us to live the day, but to share his goodness and remind others like you do of His goodness, a lot like David the Psalmist.

If we ignore His word, it would be much like driving our car on a long or daily trip, and thinking our gas tank will never read "E" for empty. Yet in God's goodness and providence, if we seek Him, it is not so much we holding onto Him (for we are weak and frail and we would have long lost grip) but rather in His hands, He loses none the Father gives to Him. We are secure because He is secure.
