Seems like great work, although I’d be concerned about the strength of the copper layers. They definitely make that a weaker knife

I know mokume gane is typically reserved for display or ceremonial pieces, but does the strength compromise if you're using a decent damascus billet during the process?

Question?? I used to work as a sheet metal guy back in the day. What about the galvanic corrosion? I’m sure it’ll take a while but wouldn’t the copper rust out?

Wouldn't the copper layer corrode fast? It would become softer if u quench it right?? That's a superb gorgeous blade tho.
