I think there's a much simpler answer to this phenomenon: Bell's theorem, which has demonstrated that two molecules even after being separated exhibit similar forces on each other, regardless of how far apart those molecules are. This is amazing! I believe it is true. Why then do great discoveries come periodically. There are certain periods in time when great things are being discovered, followed by less productive periods. Even if scientists continue their work.

I can't remember where I found this out (maybe from Dolores Cannon's words) but apparently messages to create something new, are 'given' out to everyone's higher states of consciousness, and it is the first of those whom have the ability and environment to create new ideas, who will end up inventing it. And that is why 'several' people can have the same/similar idea at around the same time - as it is all meant to 'be'.

I like Ancient Aliens but this theory is wrong, Two people in two different continent with zero contact to one another got the same idea at the same time because the resources and momentum for such an idea to be thought of was suddenly made available in both continents - how come all your examples included people from the US and Europe, why not Asia, Why not Africa, Australia even - because these continents were not in the same mind sets, the same resources were not available and the same conversation was not happening.

Science in those times had the same level of interest and were pursued equally by both the US and Few European Countries so similar ideas to be pursued at the same time was highly likely, in-fact, there were most probably more than just 2 people working on those same very ideas but they either were too late or stopped working on their idea before it was solved.

It's like when the internet came to be - hundreds if not thousands of people around the world had same type of ideas - I remember when I was in India, on an Indian show ( In English) they were talking about how 12 people in 12 different cities in India all had the brilliant idea of food delivery service - after a year or two, these people found out about each other and joined hands to build India's biggest food delivery service.

PayPal is a great example... social media sites...online dating the theory is wrong.
