Your First Instrument Pilot Lesson

In episode 4 of the Flight Lessons, Jason takes Adam and Lauren up on their first IFR lesson. Demonstrating the importance of ground first they are able to read back clearances and even shoot approaches in actual IFR with a little bit of help.

Such a great video guys, I’m just starting my study now, got about 1000 hrs up flying 182/210, and finely going for it. I’m not looking to go flying in the absolute soup, just when it’s very marginal vmc, my aim is to add a larger safety margin

Doing most of my ppl flying out of an uncontrolled field west of PHL the machine-gun like atc guidance reminded me of some flying i did in California in a P28A, thankfully with a KVNY instructor. Will always be a memory flying by the Hollywood sign, the Queen Mary (while having “opportunity “ to execute from atc steep turns to avoid an a320), the LAX VFR corridor and a landing at Santa Barbera.
