What is the difference between the J-Trace (which can do both ETM and ETB/MTB) and J-Link Pro (which can only do ETB/MTB)?

Does ETM need more pins, and support triggering and profiling (tracing/streaming)?

I have a AT ATMEL-ICE debugger which supports SWD+SWO, yet commands like ITM_SendChar() don't work.. which I thought only need SWO.. what's needed for Instrumentation Trace MacroCell?

How are printfs via ITM different than printfs over SWV? Don't they both use SWD+SWO?

How do you check log when connected through jlink? I’m using nrf52840 dongle powered by two pins not USB on board.
