All these bowling balls and layouts stuff might seem absolutely useless at first until you realize they all constitute to a single strike on a single frame that will win someone a lifelong title. That is why equipments evolve in sport, give me a sport where everyone uses the same equipment.

Thats not a bad idea for if you're on a short pattern or need to play straight

Cut two balls in half, and flip flop them to have a half and half ball. Use different cores and weights of balls. Reconnect them and bowl.

Yet I'm not able to afford to upgrade any of my equipment and even had my benchmark ball crack and split in 2 a couple weeks ago. And my shoes had to get shoe glued so the sole wouldn't fall off.
