For all those wondering if it's real or fake here is the math: 

Timing how long the ball takes to swing back and forth gives a time of 3.55s. This is the period T of the swing. Using T = 2*pi*sqrt(L/g), g = 9.81m/s we find that L  3.13m.

The ball in the video is the DV8 Frequency bowling ball. Using the diameter of the ball, the we see it travels about 25cm in 2 frames. The video is filmed at 30fps so t = 2/30 = 0.066s. Velocity v = d/t = 0.25m / 0.066s = 3.79 m/s. (this is around 8.4mph for you Americans).

The maximum angle ‘cosmax’ that the ball reaches on the other side off-screen can be calculated using the height difference ‘h’ between the start of the swing and the centre of the swing. We can use gravity and the gravitational acceleration through 0.5v^2 = gh. We also know that h = L(1 - cosmax) so: 0.5v^2 = g L(1 - cosmax). If you rearrange to solve for ‘cosmax’ you get cosmax = 1 – (3.79^2/2*9.81*3.13) = 0.771. To get the angle we need to calculate the arclength: max = arccos(0.771)  39.4 degrees.

Now we can get to actually calculating the timings:

STEP 1: Calculate mod(k): |k| = sin(max/2)  sin(20)  0.34
STEP 2: Calculate the elliptic integral K(k): K(k) = integral between 0 and pi/2 of {d/sqrt(1-k^2*sin^2()} -> K(0.34)  1.644.
STEP 3: Calculate the return time Treturn : Treturn = 2*sqrt{L/g}*K(k) -> sqrt{lL/g}  0.57s -> Treturn = 2 * 0.57 * 1.64  1.82s.

In the video, the bowling ball takes 2.43s which is a 33.5% discrepancy. Even though I didn’t really account for air resistance a 33.5% difference is far larger than any difference air resistance could have made. Therefore, this bowling ball seems to defy the laws of physics which means it’s fake at least on the way back when it hits him.

For those of you saying “oh, but how can it be fake if he’s bleeding” I recommend you google ‘fake blood’. Also if you pause the frame before the ball hits his face, you can already see this fake blood coming out of his nose. To get it to splatter on the wall behind him, he simply has to throw his head back with enough force as he does in the video.

TL;DR: The ball takes too long on the swing back, you can see the blood on his nose before it hits him so therefore the video was faked. It is nonetheless fairly well edited as proved by the ongoing debate in the comments.
