The reMARKABLE 2 an excellent tool for Screenwriters, Novelists, and Journalists, it just them and their thoughts. It's God gift to Writers. The price is worth it for them. I love it! You can take random notes, and get your thought on a digital paper tablet. I highly recommend it to Writers, especially Writers that have a bad habit of procrastination. It's ideal tool for Writers.

its a cool device I just don't understand where the cost is justified, none of the technology is new, if it was $200 then it would be ok, i get the sense they are trying the apple approach of charging a lot to think make people feel superior.

Perhaps the video you saw before you bought it wasn't very clear. I have watched hours of reviews on every aspect of the Remarkable 2. As soon as I heard you say you wanted to put all of you books on it I knew it wasn't the right product for you. It's not meant to be an E-reader for books. It can display them but the primary purpose is for writing. Links don't work because Remarkable 2 doesn't have a web browser. It's not meant to. It's supposed to be distraction free and links taking you other places distracts you from what you were reading and writing. Of course, this product isn't meant for everyone. It's in a niche market. Good on you for trying it and seeing what it's all about. Now you know more of what you want and don't want in something like this.

Does the pen wear out really fast? I heard it wore out for someone in two weeks. I am a college student and thinking about getting this, especially with virtual learning I don't have access to a printer.
