I’ve been to Hafiz Mustafa in Istanbul and their Baklava to this day has got to be the best I’ve ever tried. But you need to have it when it’s fresh otherwise it won’t taste the same. Their other desserts like Kunafe and Sahleb are amazing!
Also their Turkish teas and coffees. Next time I definitely recommend you eat in and try their other desserts

The spice bazaar or otherwise known as the Misri Bazaar in Turkey also sells amazing Baklava and Turkish delight. Definitely worth a visit

You should definitely try it fresh next time. Went to turkey around Christmas time last year and the baklava was better than anything I’ve ever had in the US, and I live in a pretty culturally diverse part of the northeast. Definitely recommend to anyone

I remember having baklava fresh one time, can’t remember from where. But it being smoking hot, fresh, which the most insane dough crunch and pistachio crunch made me realize how it goes from 6 to 8.5 if it’s fresh. I definitely recommend it!!

Hafız Mustafa is only popular with tourists. Hardly ever see locals there. Definitely need to visit a shop where the owners are from Gaziantep
