I have been using Excel for over 15 years and I still consider myself a beginner. I recently left my job and am using this “in the meantime” period for professional development courses. Stumbling across your channel was the best professional development gift that I can give me self—a perfect start to 2022!



I just completed your intro course and can see how I’ve wasted a great deal of time. I am a research administrator/analyst and work with data. After watching these video, I can only imagine the amount of time I have wasted. I cannot wait to get to more advance courses on pivot tables, dashboards, etc., which I hope will help me to prepare detailed projections and comprehensive budgets. Obrigada!

Can you do a tutorial on what the different "save as" file names and when I should use one vs the other such as binary, csv, etc? I feel like my "not responding" issue may be related to not saving my excel file correctly. Thank you for explaining that the default is .xlxs

when you save as you go along on a document, what is the indicator you have actually saved?

I hope you are still monitoring these comments. I use regular Excel not 365. I have a file that I need to open which last autosaved yesterday. Lost power briefly. Went to open it and am given an error that it cannot be restored. I really need this to open. How? Do I restore the system to yesterday? Thanks.

Its a nightmare, i lose all my invoices, i tried saving to desktop and save in OneDrive before i edit an invoice and it writes over it. I have to go into version history and search all over the place to find them,
Surely if i save an invoice and then rewrite over it and save it as a different name it should do exactly this?

If in a workbook we have 100 plus work sheet & we want to save as only one sheet, how we can save.
