I did epidemiology at University and was interested to ask if that statement at 4.44 is fully acurate? IE 'The viral DNA enters the nucleus and uses the host's DNA polemerase to create more copies of it's self'. The statement appears to imply some form of intent (The viruse uses) or intelligence or that the action was the action of the viral cell rather than it having entered in to the host reproductive cell in a form similar to DNA and thereby the host accepts it as regular DNA and then the Host reproduces it. a little like a cukoo laying an egg in an unaware host nest so the host accepts the cuckoo as one of it's own and therefore feeds, nurtures and cares for it. Here with the cukoo example analogy the young cukoo has some intellegence and therefore may play along or even make an assuption that the host is it's mother. But my question here is about a viral cell with out intelligence, reproductive organs or will being accepted for reproduction. TY.
