As an agnostic, I'd say that you (possibly unknowingly) portrayed agnosticism as questioning, or confused about religion, I'm here to clarify, that many agnostics, like myself, wouldn’t care much if a god exists or not, if it’s impossible to know, there's no point caring about it. But whether if there's a higher power watching over all of us or not, we all still need to be a decent human being.

I myself think less of whether or not god exists, and more of what it would look like if a god does exist in our exact world. I don't think it applies to most agnostics, I like thinking about it because it’s fun for me.
