I saw this concert at Birmingham Town Hall in the same year, Awesome night, Large speakers were not only on stage but were even behind you on the upper circle were I sat, Roger cooked breakfast live on stage Alan's Psychadelic breakfast, The choir were pitch perfect, And Astronomy Domine blowed your head off with those large speakers right behind you Have the framed ticket and signed photo of the band performing their last live concert together at live 8.Thanks for posting Roger never thought I would get to this again.

Possibly be the most comprehensive piece of symphonic rock that has been written and interpreted. Needless to say, all the feelings that occur when heard for more than 40 years. The most significant is that there are many schools and groups of classical music in Europe interpret it, each with their adaptations and contributions of inspiration

the 2 guitar solos that Dave does at the beginning and end. ."breast milky" sections are the FINEST SLIDE GUITAR SOLOS IN THE HISTORY OF ALL ROCK &ROLL....PERIOD...the last is the best in my opinion. ...drenched in the finest analog delay from the legendary BLACK STRAT. ...

Having become familiar with Floyd around 75, via that album about the moon, Atom Heart was heard next, and even as a youngin, was greatly impressed.

I was baffled when i found out that the song"Incarsuration of a Flower Child was released in 1999 which obvoously wasn't the song I thought I heard on the radio 30 + years ago. . The song i heard had a reoccurring baroque-like keyboard melody and a trippy 3 minute middle 8 guitar solo with few lyrics sung by I believe Roger. Unlike some of Floyd 's songs from that era, the mid 60s, this tune was up tempo. The OUTRO soumded like the remnents from the COMMITTEE LP parts 1 and2 and this song, surprisingly, was not on any of Floyd's commercial LPs. If this were UNTITLED, i it's unfortunate but if anyone thinks they heard something that sounded very much like this, please share your title idea with me

16:45 till 19:02 Rick must have absorbed Ligeti, and then it became completely his own. One of the best creations by Rick, and of PF.
