This is how I approach this passage as well. It’s not perfect, and some questions remain, but it’s preferable to every other interpretation I’ve heard.

This is the very verse that spoke to me affirming the security of salvation. Stating Christ would have to be crucified again and again if we could lose our salvation.

JESUS says that no one can snatch HIS children away from HIS HAND, so if they fall away they weren’t saved in the first place. Everyone can experience HIS LOVE and have a taste of HIS goodness but doesn’t mean they have fully put their trust in JESUS CHRIST. Just like those who tasted HIS POWER when JESUS says not everyone who calls me LORD LORD will enter the kingdom of GOD. Those who are truly reborn again, those who put their faith in CHRIST alone will be saved!

What this passage is saying is that those who "tasted and shared the Holy Spirit" only experienced them like how the old testament people experienced God's spectacular works, only to "fall away" or "fall short" because "they didn't share the same faith" (or in some translations "they didn't combine what they heard with faith") as per chapter 4.

So what the gentleman in the video checks out. "They weren't real believers in the first place" is just as saying as people "falling short" of the grace.

After being born again if you do not stay faithful to God and walk away fully given over to sin. You are lost. I believe you can lose your salvation and does the bible not talk about people's names being rubbed out of the lambs book of life. Preachers I respect say there is no such thing as once saved always saved...Christians who started well then ended really badly. I believe from reading scripture and God giving us free will we can walk away from the faith and get lost in sin and the world. That's why we must read God's word and fellowship with other believes, praying everyday and having a healthy fear of God...

If we could all agree with what is written and keep quiet it will be very helpful. The bible is not confusing but a lot of us lack basic English comprehension.

How would you be able to be restored to repentance if you were never repentent and saved to begin with. The whole hypothetical scenario wouldn't make sense if this wasn't talking about an already saved christian. This is clearly talking about an already saved christian. A saved christian can loose thier salvation if they stop believing and it cant be restored if you reject the faith. Rejection of the holy spirit is an unforgivable sin. God isn't going to keep you saved if you decide you don't want it anymore. Just like how we have to choose salvation, we can choose to leave the faith. God isn't going to force you to stay in a state of saving belief in the gospel. If you leave your out for good though. The work is on you to endure to the end by not rejecting the faith that saved you the first time. You must keep your faith in the gospel from the point of salvation to death with no pauses even if its the size of a mustard seed. Rejection of the faith is a sin that cant be forgiven therefore OSAS is false. If im saved then reject the faith after salvation i cant be restored to repentance. Thats clearly what hebrews 6:4-6 is saying.

Hebrews 6:11

11 We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure.

Respectfully, I have to disagree 100% with Dr. Moeller. From my understanding of scripture, after studying this topic for a very long time, I believe Dr. Moeller‘s answer is an example of how presuppositions (e.g. regeneration comes before faith; those who are regenerated will never turn their back on Christ), can cause even a serious and honest theologian to twist the simple understanding of verses. The New Testament teaches over and over again that people are created by God with freedom to either respond to his grace and come to him with faith, or ignore his grace completely, or respond to his grace with faith and eventually walk away from the faith. That is both the wonderful and terrible aspect of the freedom which God gives us.
